Tinkerbell

My girlfriend wanted a picture for ages so I told her I'd do one for valentines and since she didn't want a full nude portait of me I decided to paint Tinkerbell for her!
I painted it on a A2 canvas so its pretty big and Tink is a pain in the ass to draw and I only had one week to get it done but I like it and so did she!

Marvel Murial

Heres my nephews room that I'm painting with marvel characters. Its a labour of love and taking quite a while but its looking pretty class. Heres some picures of it as I go. Again its shot on my phone so there not great quality but will put some good ones of the finished thing up soon, if I ever get it finished!

Heres a painting I done of Lion-o of the Thundercats, I dont paint much so doing it was hit and miss to figure out how to do it and after all the messing about I learnt more about what not to do!
The pictures are of the progression I stumbled through as I painted it. The photos are of my phone so the quality is'nt great but I'll upload a higher quality image of the finished thing once its done!

Earths Mightiest Heroes

Hey I suppose its time I started using this! (I've had it over a year and never bothered!)

Anyhows, I seen a really cool art deco poster of the Xmen on another blog
http://erictanart.blogspot.com/2007/12/i-need-sleep.html
and loved it straight away! Being a huge Marvel fan and loving the style of art deco I decided to do one of my own.
With my fave heroes the Xmen already done I decided to do one of the Avengers.
Obviously I was copying the style of the Xmen poster but I think I made this image my own by doing some things different, namely the Hulk's muscles and the different shades of red for their costumes.
I want to thank Eric Tan for the original concept and I hope you all like my version of The Avengers, Earths Mightiest Super-Heroes!
